Whistleblowing
Ethics Hotline at ÚSTARCH SAV, v.v.i., as a “whistleblowing” tool, provides employees with an effective and trustworthy way to seek help and report potential violations in the area of ethics and compliance with principles and rules within employment relationships and scientific research
(as also set out in the Ethical Code of the Slovak Academy of Sciences).
No sanctions will be applied against a person who, in good faith, reports a matter concerning ethics and compliance with principles and rules.
The Ethics Hotline is not intended for reporting suggestions aimed at resolving issues related to the ordinary operation of the organization, nor for settling personal disputes between employees.
A report may be submitted anonymously or non-anonymously in a sealed envelope marked “Ethics Hotline” or “Whistleblowing”:
– by mail to the address: ÚSTARCH SAV, v. v. i., Dúbravská cesta 9, 845 03 Bratislava;
– in person at the institute’s secretariat;
– in person to the responsible person appointed pursuant to Directive No. 6 on handling notifications of anti-social activity;
– by placing the envelope marked Ethics Hotline/Whistleblowing into the mailbox located on the ground floor of the institute;
